My Dust Buster Makes Me Unreasonably Happy

Perhaps it is a sign of age or priority or the fact that I don't get out of the house as much as I used to, but my new dust buster makes me so happy.  It is a Bissell Featherweight.   It sweeps the floor, vacuums the stairs, I even tried sucking cereal off the baby with it.  The baby did not like this very much.  Note to self: make another log entry in your Bad Mommy Moments book.

It is amazing the amount of stuff that ends up on the floor of my kitchen each day.  And yet I have yet to find something that this bust buster can not suck up.  It even did wet noodles the other day, which I am sure is not what it was designed for, but it worked.

This thing has made cleaning the kitchen so much easier.  I know that I sound like the laziest person on the planet to complain about having to lug out a broom and dust pan, but after a long day moving the kitchen table back and forth so I can sweep is the last thing I want to do.  However, if I skip my nightly cleaning, you can hear crunching under your feet from all the stuff left on the floor.

Sorry to sound like a commercial, and not this was not a solicited post, but I just had to say how happy my new toy makes me.  I have wanted one for a very long time and when I saw the price was right on this little baby, I snatched it up.

I don't know if the fact that I am so excited about a household cleaning device means that I have begun a new chapter of neatness or that I am just continuing on my previous trajectory of becoming a total domestic nerd girl.
