With the events of last December, I kind of went in to hibernation. But, as Spring blooms here in Virginia, I will be trying to come back to regale you with tales amongst the little people. For example yesterday, when I had a house guest over no less, Jack stripped down to his birthday suit and pooped in a laundry basket. I am living breathing birth control for the childless.
This weekend my baby girl will turn 8. I literally cry whenever I think about it because it is all just going by too fast. I remember when I thought that her turning 4 was an epic, life changing event. Everything now is fashion and fabulousness. The Disney princesses are long gone, (Those are for little girls.) replaced by pop star princesses and civil rights leaders. She is coming in to her own now and I am seeing glimpses of the woman she will become mixed in with the last vestiges of little girl that hang on before with catapult in to the teen years.
Well, back to cleaning up the house. I actually have a vacuum cleaner on loan. Mine shot shrapnel out the back and it just became too dangerous to clean so I sort of let the house go.
Happy Spring! At last, I am able to air out the house, let go of the old and look forward to the new.
